Mobile Estate Signings
Iron Crown Notary coordinates signing appointments for attorney-prepared estate documents, including trusts, powers of attorney, self-proving affidavits, advance directives and related documents requiring notarization.
We work with estate planning attorneys, probate professionals, individuals and families. Appointments are available at law offices, private residences, hospitals, hospice settings and senior living communities, subject to location access and scheduling.
Each assignment receives clear communication and careful attention to signer needs, witness arrangements and the attorney’s signing instructions.
Jail & Detention Facility Notarizations
Iron Crown Notary works with attorneys and families to coordinate jail notarizations in Dallas County, Tarrant County and surrounding communities.
Assignments may involve powers of attorney, affidavits, estate documents and other documents requiring a notarial act. We review the facility location, document needs and requested timeframe before confirming arrangements.
Appointments remain subject to facility approval, identification requirements, access procedures and security protocols.
Attorney-Directed Document Preparation
Iron Crown Notary provides administrative document preparation under attorney direction, helping law firms manage document-intensive assignments according to their established procedures.
Support may include document assembly, formatting, printing, signing-package preparation, witness coordination, appointment logistics and record organization.
We follow the supervising attorney’s instructions and defined assignment scope. Legal advice, document interpretation and legal decisions remain with the attorney.

What notary services do you offer in Dallas–Fort Worth?
Our primary services include estate notarizations and jail notarizations. We also accept real estate signing assignments and provide administrative document preparation under attorney direction. Based in Farmers Branch, we serve surrounding Dallas–Fort Worth communities.
What should I have ready for my mobile notary appointment?
Have your complete documents and acceptable identification ready, such as a current government-issued photo ID or U.S. passport. Share the document type, number of signers and location when booking. If identification is unavailable, contact us before scheduling to discuss applicable requirements.
Does each signer need to be present and signing voluntarily?
Each person whose signature is being notarized must personally appear before the notary. For mobile appointments, this means appearing in person. The signer must be willing to proceed and able to communicate with the notary; a relative’s permission cannot replace the signer’s participation.
Can you coordinate estate notarizations that require witnesses?
Tell us about witness requirements when requesting your appointment. Your attorney or document provider should confirm the number and qualifications of witnesses needed. We can discuss witness arrangements and availability before confirming the signing.
How do I arrange a jail or detention facility notarization?
Provide the facility name, signer’s name, document type and requested timeframe. We review access and scheduling requirements before confirming an appointment. Visits depend on facility approval, identification procedures and signer availability.
Do you provide legal advice or prepare documents for attorneys?
We provide administrative document preparation under attorney direction. We do not offer legal advice, interpret legal documents or choose legal forms or notarial certificates for clients. Questions about a document’s legal effect should be directed to an attorney.
How are notary and travel fees quoted?
We explain applicable notarial fees and separate travel or additional service charges before your appointment. Your quote reflects the location, number of notarial acts, scheduling needs and any agreed additional services.
Are same-day mobile notary appointments available?
Same-day appointments may be available depending on location, scheduling and assignment requirements. Contact us with your document type and preferred time to check availability. Jail appointments also require facility coordination and approval.

Shelly Hunt is the Founder and Principal of The Iron Crown Collective. A U.S. Navy veteran with eleven years of service as a Yeoman, she applies the records, correspondence and directives discipline of naval administration to every engagement. She is a commissioned Texas notary of more than eight years who is NNA certified and background screened. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Strayer University and brings more than 15 years of HR operations and HRIS experience across government and corporate environments, including Oracle HCM and PeopleSoft.
VetHUB certification is administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Background-screened and trained by the National Notary Association.
